My husband and I decided to try a new restaurant on our way to the movies, and this one happened to be just across the street. Its a little tucked away in a strip mall and I wasn't sure what to expect...actually I only new the place as Firefly and figured it was some burger/bar place, but boy was I surprised. When you walk in you realize this is no burger place. There is a wine bar, which appears quite extensive by glass or bottle. We were quickly seated at our table and given bread. I ordered the gorgonzola crusted filet and my husband had ordered a special for the night (which I can't seem to recall exactly).
I was quite pleased with my selection...the gorgonzola wasn't overpowering, but just enough flavor. (My husband was 'afraid' of the gorgonzola and so didn't order the filet, but after tasting a bite of mine, he said it was very tasty). My husband did say his meal was very good as well. We were both quite satisified with the meal and service at this restaurant. We couldn't decide which dessert to get so we ordered both the chocolate fondont and the creme brulee. The Fondont was a little disappointing...it was overcooked, but still tasty. The creme brulee was creamy and delicious. They did advertise for a 'wine tour' that was coming up that would be fun to participate in on our next time out. I would highly recommend this place.
