Truly great wine bar and restaurant!

So, after going to the same places in Encinitas over the last 3 years it was time to try a new place. My husband and I have been to Firefly 3 times in the last 3 weeks, after trying it on a whim for the first time, and absolutely love the ambiance, wine, food and customer service. The menu is always changing but I had the most amazing filet with the fig wine sauce that was cooked to perfection. The owner is so friendly and welcomed us back on our 2nd trip back (how nice of him to remember). A great place to take friends and family to for wine and cocktails at the bar (try the cheese plate) and wonderful for dinner too. Truly one of our new favorites!
